Restore Net Neutrality!
Hi everyone,
It’s been barely a week since the FCC’s Net Neutrality repeal went into effect and already the big ISPs are undermining the open internet with updated “network-management policies.”1 But public opposition is only growing.
Nearly 40 prominent national organizations have joined the movement to fight the FCC’s attacks on an internet that is free, open and works for everyone. People are mobilized.
Now, members of Congress must act to save Net Neutrality.
Put the pressure on the House and urge your rep to sign on to the Net Neutrality CRA.
There’s a reason independent publishers, racial-justice organizations, environmental groups, and campaigns for corporate and governmental accountability are all joining together right now. In an increasingly consolidated media environment, the internet is quickly becoming the only option for speaking out against corruption, human-rights violations and other injustices.
On traditional media and cable news, we rarely hear about racism, our cruel and inhumane immigration system, or the rapidly evolving climate catastrophe.
But on the web, grassroots investigative journalists, independent media outlets and activists can bring our collective attention to the challenges we face. In the fight for a better world, there’s no better tool than an open, accessible and affordable internet.
AT&T, Comcast and Verizon are getting everything on their wish list thanks to an FCC chairman who’s in their pocket. Now more than ever we need the will of the people to override the FCC’s corporate agenda.
This fight isn’t over. Thanks to you and millions of other people who believe a better tomorrow is possible, we will win.
