Bombing of Nagasaki, Japan
On August 9, 1945, the United States dropped the atomic bomb "Fat Man" on Nagasaki, Japan. This event was the second and last time a nuclear weapon was used in warfare. The bomb was dropped from a B-29 bomber named "Bockscar". The "Fat Man" bomb was a plutonium implosion-type weapon, with an explosive force equivalent to approximately 20,000 tons of TNT.

The B-29 Superfortress named Enola Gay dropped the "Little Boy" atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, on August 6, 1945. The bombing was a key event in World War II and resulted in significant casualties and destruction.

The atomic bomb "Little Boy" was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, on August 6, 1945, by the American bomber Enola Gay. This event, part of the Manhattan Project, marked the first use of a nuclear weapon in warfare. The bomb, a gun-type uranium-235 device, had an explosive force equivalent to 15,000 tons of TNT, and resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and widespread destruction.
